As fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (a.k.a. the “KathNiel love team”) keep pointing out, the couple have millions of social media followers. The question is, does this following translate to votes on election day? That remains to be seen.
Back in 2016, Bernardo and Padilla publicly endorsed Yellowtard candidate Mar Roxas. Presumably behind them was the media might of Goliath network ABS-CBN.
Mar’s wife, broadcaster Korina Sanchez-Roxas, posted a photo of the 4 on her Instagram account.
“#KathNiel is for Mar! Teen King and Queen Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo go for Mar Roxas for President in 2016! #DaangMatuwidPaMore,” Korina captioned.
A bevy of Yellowtard social media influencers also cheer them on, encouraging Filipinos to plumb ever lower depths of intellectual depravity just to further their insidious agendas.

Considering that there actually were Yellowtard political leaders back in 2016 for Yellowtard celebrities to endorse all the more makes it quite laughable that the same bunch now latch on to the same celebrities despite not having any leader for them to endorse today.
The trouble with the Yellowtards is that they are starved for “heroes” to rally around and evidently lack any capability to craft intelligent platforms to challenge the status quo they supposedly despise. What is it exactly that they propose? Is reducing the national discourse to mere adolescent fantardism their aim? It certainly looks like it.
