By most accounts, the opening ceremonies of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games hosted in Manila was a success that dazzled participants and audience alike. This, after a who’s who of Opposition “thought leaders” slandered the event viciously in the weeks leading up to it.

Despite the evident uplift on the spirits of Filipinos and the profile the event gave to the country befitting its place as a major economic power in the region, key opinion shapers of the Opposition were seemingly unimpressed.
Netizen “activists” like Kat Stuart-Santiago rendered their verdicts as snippets and factoids on the ongoing preparations crossed her newsfeed…

In light of all this, we must defer to the eminent social media maven @AltABSCBN, ringleader of the disinformation campaign surrounding the event, who issues an apt closing remark that, to be fair, most Filipinos can relate with…
And, on that, this from us for now…
Abangan ang susunod na kabanata.
